Sushant Singh Rajput Case:Most Complicated Case ever?
It has been over 2 years since the world lost a gem. Even after 2 years multiple agencies are investigating his case and yet to submit the report in his case. The question arises, is it so complicated that India’s ‘best’ agencies are taking so much time?
CBI, ED and NCB have been investigating the case. Agencies are yet to reach conclusion whereas one of them, NCB has filed chargesheet the matter. A 62,000 page charge sheet has been drafted in the Bombay High Court against 30+ people which included Rhea Chakroborty as accused. Will write about the narcotics case latter. My main focus will be on CBI and the death case. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his Bandra Residence on 14 June, 2020. The got a lot of hype which led to various incidents like the Kangana Case, Arnab Goswami Arrest case. But even after so much till date CBI has not filed any charge sheet or section like (302 or 306) in this case or even a press conference. CBI’s central team is investigating the case from last 2 years.
Well first I would to point out that the investigationwhich was done by Mumbai Police is shady and unsatisfactory. Till the time CBI reached Sushant’s residence circumstantial were possibly non-existant. But CBI has access to world class facilities and by those the case can be solved. While all this is the legal, the fans, family and friends of Sushant Singh Rajput suspect it to a case of Murder(IPC 302). Their suspicion is not wrong the way the things happened and were handled it looks the highest possibilty. Then the question comes when will CBI take any action? Multiple people tried gathering some information from CBI but were unsuccessful as CBI is not liable to answer anyone except the family members of the victims. The time has come that Rajput’s family files a request in the SC asking for an update in the matter.
I find the major role of the delay in this case is the politics that was played in the case. BJP used to case to gather votes in Bihar Election and then it goes silent. MVA government tried their best to stop this case from going to CBI. Possibly this politics over this case is responsible for the delay in the case. Some senior politicians in Maharashtra were making a lot of claims in this case but after the shift in power from MVA to the new Eknath Shinde government they have went silent for a while. Lets see if they say something in the near future.
